Job Description:

 

 

 

Bank of Ann Arbor's Stadium Office is seeking a part-time teller who has an interest in working

 

Monday - Friday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Rotating Saturdays 8:30-12:15

 

Summary of Duties:

Provides accurate and efficient transaction services to customers. Controls and balances all financial instruments processed and assists in overall branch services.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Welcomes customers to the bank in a warm, friendly manner.

 

  1. Handles transactions efficiently and accurately by accepting account deposits and withdrawals, verifying cash and endorsements of checks.

 

  1. Accepts loan payments, issues money orders, cashier’s checks, traveler’s checks, foreign currency, cash advances and U.S. Savings Bonds.

 

  1. Processes all transactions within authorized limits, which includes check-cashing limits. Obtains supervisor approval on all required transactions.

 

  1. Cross sells and/or refers products to new and existing customers.

 

  1. Performs other duties as required by the position.

 

 

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Position Requirements:

  1. One year previous experience as a teller or relevant banking position.
  2. Proficient computer skills, which includes the ability to use a keyboard, ten-key pad and basic capability to access information contained within bank wide systems.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of bank clients.
  4. High school diploma or equivalent, with minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
  5. Must have ability to be flexible in the scheduling of work hours.
